Good call on the SW activity. Plenty of beefy showers on the radar now

Yellow box covering the entire UK. Apart from the eastern coastal areas, probably as far inland as Norwich to Thetford. Typical.d

Well i'm in Wolves and i didn't hear anything, plus there is no raindrops falling out of that little shower, which right over the top of my location (or very close).

It wouldn't of come from that cell over Wolverhampton , would of been from the storm over Shrewsbury .

It was very distant , more of a crack than a rumble .

Definitely thunder though , I've heard enough thunder in my lifetime (46 years) to know when a sound is thunder

Rochester cell isn't going anywhere fast, could be some flooding from that, preying it doesn't come this way  Half way digging out a iron pole in the garden don't need it flooded!

And it looks like it's on the move! I better get digging.

There's a Rochester cell? Where? Looks like it's going to rain but hot and sunny now.

That small shower looks to be expanding at the moment, and it may start raining shortly.

26.3°C now, about 5°C warmer than forecast so there should be more CAPE around.

Prestatyn area looks like it’s getting battered. Everything just a little too West still as I thought at the moment.

 Still blazing sunshine.

The storm appears to have honed in on Caerwys. ?️

A very much shortened video of the chase I went on back last Sunday (27th May). Very much shortened as the total edited footage amounts to just over 2 hours!

I now have 4+ hours of footage to edit from yesterday's storm around Cheltenham and then last nights storms over the Cotswolds.

Dangers over, no rumbles/flashes, just a handful of raindrops. Still quite warm 21.8C, peaked at 23.7C.
