Heavy rain, thunderstorms and flood risk remains but shifts for southern sunshine

There have been torrential downpours and flash flooding events this week with more rain to come. The risk moves to different parts of the UK as sunshine appears for England and Wales this weekend.

Now Amber warning for rain from the thundery showers over SW Britain. Heading W/NW. The radar pic shows how some areas are getting down pour after downpour from the lines of showers and other spots stay dry, bright and warm. So even though the whole region is covered by the AMBER warning, you can see how just some locations will receive the high rainfall totals. It's about risk with showers not you will definitely get flooded or a thunderstorm.
