Early rise.  Brains confused about what time it is.  Making coffee at 5am. Still in Irving atm  Not entirely sure how the day is goiing to pan out.  There is a 5% tornado risk which is about 250 miles to our northwest.   It is very tempting, however we do have a guest arriving around 6pm and so we will have to come here after the chase.

As we know the weather situation can change at the drop of a hat. So watch this space.

Chicken George.

Chicken George.

And as I said things can change it looks at the moment that the 5% tornado risk have now been removed.   Still say watch this space.

Update

Plans are always made to change and todays have been subject to change with each weather update.

We will be setting off north from Dallas  once our last guest arrives around 6pm and see how far north we can, maybe pick up something from the MCS if it has more staying power than the models predict.

We met a couple of cops yesterday both really nice. One probably didnt realise the effect he would have on my concentration when after driving over 200 miles he decided to shadow me for a while in the dark. Nice man though. The second cop was the local cop in Perry who stopped in the field with us for a while to watch the incoming storm.
