Lovely in Salcombe, sun has broken through a bit more in the past hour. Temperature is absolutely perfect here to be honest, feel a bit for those further east enjoying muggy central!

A low of 14.1°C this morning. I did reach 28.6°C but it has dropped to 27.7°C.Not feeling humid here - low humidity. Not feeling 'hot' either, 'very warm' at best.

Currently 28.2C possibly aided by a heath fire which has kicked off about an hour ago. RH50% and moving a flat full of furniture is not a pleasant task in this heat & humidity.as humidex touched 33.3C..

Just managed to touch 32C despite the variable cloud cover - roughly 70% cloud cover locally I'd say (Abingdon). Reminds me of 1st July 2015 when we got to 33C/34C under similar cloud cover. I think we'd squeeze another 2C if the cloud clears before 6pm. Unfortunately if it doesn't clear before sunset it will then lock in the heat for the night time period. At least the grass pollen season has wound down now anyway, no more hayfever for me. Would love a thunderstorm overnight but not now as the rain will only serve to increase the humidity, which currently is at quite nice levels in the low 30% region.

We hit 24c today . Not bad out there but more of a breeze

Only reached 25.3°C here before the sea breeze picked up. As it’s been all week so far when the sea breeze does pick up the temperature drops and stays around 21-22°C all afternoon so this heatwave hasn’t really been much of one here.

Beautiful sky has now formed with plenty of altocumulus. Something is starting to give now.

not all that active but lovely deep rumbles of thunder, and rain!

29.3C max today. Was expecting over 30C but there seemed a lot more cloud around than expected thankfully. Really looking forward to cooler weather over the weekend!
