Easily the warmest day of the year so far here reaching 27.1°C this afternoon. Huge difference without the sea breeze.

Gorgeous down at the beach again. Full moon is going to look stunning later.

I hear tonight is going to be a 'strawberry moon' whatever that means! I'll be looking out

I can just see it rising past the incoming North Sea clag...It looks bugger all like a strawberry!

Fish are already biting! My new rod & reel combo are unbelievable for casting! So pleased with it.

Another beautiful day in the South Hams, the breeze was pretty strong here all day so temps pegged back a little. Don't have an exact figure to hand but I'd say 22 or 23c here would have been about right today, not quite as toasty as yesterday. But absolutely no complaints whatsoever!

I know I’m going to regret saying this, but do find @matt111‘s profile picture to be attractive.

(Sorry, would rather be honest).

And here was me thinking I was the NW hottie

my house seems to be a heat magnet and Im really struggling to sleep as the house is so warm at night.....weird, because the humidity is low?

It's women mate, they're like human radiators.

Just kick the missus out of bed and all will be fine...

If you want to stay married however, just flick the fan on

Amazing how 14C feels refreshing, but it certainly did this morning with the light breeze it's very pleasant out there. Then I walk in to the office 24.6C, back in the sweatbox. The view over the channel this morning is clear, so here we go again.. but back in town today rather than the smoky Manchester..

Well here's a change, an hour ago we looked set for another full on sunny day and now it's gone gloomy and feels cool because the 12.2c minimum isn't rising.

Min of 7.0c here yesterday, then a max of 24C with the sea breeze again.

Down to 8.4c earlier here in the valley. A station 0.7 miles to my west on a hillside and 40m higher had 12.9c though.

Currently 16.0c and rising. Today should see higher temps here due to a slight wind direction change even if we still get a bit of a sea breeze later.

Morning all. A delightful 13 c here. That'll do me...get the house cooled down before today's heat.

Not sure I'd call this weather a hwatwave though.  Isn't it simply summer? We haven't seen it for a while but pretty sure that's what it is!

Some actual clouds this morning, but just a few. Otherwise sunny but cooler than previous mornings. Still at 17C.

A lot of Cu cycling here, a refreshing change instead of the blue, decent breeze too so very pleasant out and about! Desperately need some rain here, crops are starting to burn up and die.
