It may not be heavy but the Cold Front has pepped up to some extent and it's been raining for over an hour here. Likely to be the last rain for a long time though.

In the recent times of numerous weak fronts the IPhone weather app has been surprisingly accurate with timings of rain which initially look unlikely. This morning it showed 60% to 70% chances between 15.00-18.00 and that's spot on. It did similar last Saturday and last Tuesday. On every occasion the Met Office app has shown only 20% chance at the most.

Light drizzle coming from the cold front here too, hardly enough to dampen the ground and definitely not enough to penetrate the gauge.

Very light drizzle now, just like there was this morning. Nothing major!

Still sunny here with blue skies in most directions but guess this is the cold front coming into view.

Just before 21.30 this evening, a pleasant surprise to the NW!

A sunny day, wondering if the somewhat fresher air is arriving as the humidity levels have dropped away big time. Currently 20.7°C.

Yep, huge improvement down here in Salcombe. Been really poor the past week, so much thick mist and light mizzle!

Much clearer and fresher today, clouded over a bit in the past hour but a very nice day so far.

Gorgeous day today. More like an early May Day given how fresh it is but lovely all the same.

If these easterlies keep setting themselves up for another 9 or 10 months we will be in for more warm summer months and a cold winter!

Interesting you should say that bear in mind the ENSO conditions whilst neutral are subject to change by the winter..

A nice day yesterday with it still reaching 20.2C. Pretty chilly last night though, down to just 3.5C.

A glorious morning now. Forecast looks good! Although I feel the Met Offices 22C for Tuesday and Wednesday and 24C on Thursday for me is a little low, even if we get some sea breeze influence.

anyone taken a look at the barometer recently i don't know how accurate mine is but a reading of 1039.5 mb is a fairly rear beast this last few years

1032mb here and falling very slowly, but a classic high by all means.
