Put the dog out at about 7:15, bone dry, then I heard the rain and a crying from outside, poor mutt was soaked to the bone lol that was a deluge !

Looking at the radar you couldn't have picked a better time. Plenty of dry weather either side of that.

Just had a brief shower, winds picked up a little but died down again now

Oh seems we nearly hit the 50 mph today. I was up Thames Tower tonight in Reading at several floors up. Quite cool as they have an outdoor bit.. on one of the floors.. which was a tad breezy - It would have been great! That and the views..

Morning All, a fresh day (Oh and a sunny one) in paradise. Just checked, nope, it's not raining, currently Temp: 8.5 °C...Dew Point: 7.1 °C. Preparing for another deluge tonight in to tomorrow I suspect..

Oh, the splendor of seeing stars in the early morning sky and having a full day of sunshine

Just some scattered cloud around and 7.c

Venus, at approx 6:50am was incredible. I've never seen it so big and bright.

We hit 57mph here. Luckily I  didn't have to venture out until the afternoon!

All in all, not a bad here, hazy sunshine and the odd scattered heavy shower.

Got to work this morning to be greeted by this sorry sight, poor Holm Oak didn't survive the gales, split right down the middle.

Good afternoon! What a lovely day?! 12.2°C as well.

Did a scout around in the garden and found 3 fence posts broken at the bottom due to wind + next doors cack-handed installation of a sprinkler system. Could do with a few more days like today to help dry out the ground a bit, before I dig out the old posts and replace them.

A rare nice day with blue skies all day and quite pleasant in the sun, finally a decent day to be outside. Reached 11.9°C.

Looks like it’s back to the gloom and wet weather tomorrow.

A fair day today, started off sunny and turned partly cloudy but dry into the afternoon. Yep, tomorrow looks crap!

Morning All, yup it’s a return to situation “rain”, 12.4mm of rain and still raining, although mild @10.4C. Now we await the strengthening breeze..

14mm of rain added this morning! Got a right soaking at the boys football training!

Importantly tomorrow and Monday look dry for moving house

24.2mm fell here. I thought it was an error on my Davis rain gauge until I checked the manual gauge.

I noticed your station had a high reading! You can’t argue with a manual though ?‍♂️

Incredible really given the distance

A positively tropical start to this 31st of November.

Any idea if there is still a lightning risk tonight?
