Tail end of the system just passed through a minute ago. Quite an intense burst of wind for about 15 seconds. But hopefully now it'll clear up a bit for the rest of the day...

Looks like a decent squall line on the radar although it doesn’t extend all the way down to south so.

I was on my way back from the doctors at Corfe Castle and the heavens opened! Huge puddles and poor visibility. 13mm here.

12mm according to my closest station to home on WunderG!

Working in Chichester where it is equally grim!

Looks like a nasty squall line passed through on the back of the frontal band! Grand Pier bullseye’d it

We've had several intense bursts here today. Another one has just passed through, and the wind has strengthened too. Currently at 16.4mm. I'm well over the monthly average of rain for November now.

Rain easing now but had a very intense burst on the back edge, the windows of my flat looked like I was sat in a car in a car wash! 18.0mm of rain so a pretty wet day!

What a day! -1.7°C and a thick frost. Now, 21mm of rain and winds gusting to 36mph.

Yeah I’m loving it!! Although I’m sure I won’t be saying that when I set off home! People seem unable to drive in these conditions

17mm at home (ish) so far today. Squall line still to come.

Wind picking up again here after a bit of a lull, although the rain is still as heavy as earlier. 10.8mm so far.

Today....bleeding, bloody, sodding horrible. Days like today I'd gladly swap being a gardener for Tesco's checkout. Soaking wet and cold too. Yuk!

I went through a gap in the squall line too

That heavy area on your image hit Bournemouth just as I was leaving, the A338 was flooded in quite a few places due to that little beaut

Can't believe people are writing off December already when we are not even in December yet! We all knew already that the first few days to a week of December would be zonal but nobody knows after that. The constant arguing as well is enough to drive anybody crazy.
