Cold rain down here. Got soaked earlier.

Snow at the office in Stokenchurch apparently.

Explains it why missed here.literally 1mile away from first band toward Warminster.

Heavy snow in Stroud, coming down thick and fast above 150 meters.  just driven up Haresfield beacon in my new truck

Moderate and some heavy snow in Stroud, really big wet flakes. Tops of the hills gone white. Not bad for autumn...

Great example of evaporative cooling. Woke up to temp of 4.3°C dew point of 1.7°C was 3.9°C when it started now 2.1 with Dp 0.5. More sleety now but lovely bonus for November. 

Hope we all get to some proper snow in the coming months.

My phone died while I was trying to report heavy wet snow while working in Westbury earlier.

Cold and cloudy for most of the morning after the clear snow stopped...

Seems most of the showers since have passed to the west.

As is so often the case, the worst of the weather has missed here and it's actually a very reasonable day with sunny spells bit chilly at just above 5C.

Saw 2 flakes this morning missed the big heavy band of snow by a couple of miles.

Missed all of the hail showers this afternoon

After my last comment we had some more heavy snow until around 8:10 and then it went back to sleet/rain. Had a heavy hail shower just after half 10 and after that it's been raining on and off all afternoon
