Bouncing along at the bottom around 1.8C / 1.9C, that's about it as the wind is now in more from the SE, i.e. from the Channel, so unlikely to drop any lower now.

Still dropping here at an extremely slow rate but it's down to 2.5°C with a DP of 1.6°C.

According to the closest reporting Wunderground station (a mile away but same height and topography) it's currently 1c here, dew point -1.4c. Nowt falling from the sky though.

Maybe my weather station is reading wrong, I've been outside and it's ruddy cold. Sleeting gently too.

Just goes to show really that easterly is always the way forward for us daan saaf! Last “winter proper” slider central didn’t deliver a snowflake on @Mapantz weather station, never mind the floor away from decent elevation and well inland! But currently we’ve got at best an average easterly, in mid November and its soooo close to delivering proper, uppers just not quite cold enough!

It got pretty close in Exeter but not quite close enough - there was a period of light rain with a temperature of 3C.

Now at Reading Uni it's difficult to know what regional chat I should be in. Nevertheless it is beginning to precipitate with a moderate intensity here, being on top floor of a halls of residence makes it difficult to see but looks to be a tad sleety.
