Not bad out of the breeze this afternoon with a high of 11.8°C and blue skies all day but it didn’t feel that pleasant in the breeze. Nice to have a sunny weekend.

Apologies for this but I am seeking help from the learned gardening folks in our area. Can anybody please tell me what this leaf comes from, it's a shrub and has an oval black berry?

Thanks and apologies for the misuse of the thread.

Could be a Common Buckthorn, not completely sure though, has it got spikes/thorns?
They can be invasive if it is a buckthorn.

Something i've noticed is how badly the wind speed forecasts have been over the past 48 hours for here. Even now, the MO are showing gusts of 26mph. Wind speed here is 4mph, gusting to 11mph. It hasn't been windy at all today.

It’s been a bit breezy on the Isle of Wight today, had top gust of 22mph.

Could be a cherry laurel but need much better pictures. Berries leaves on stem and close up ect.

My guess would be Viburnum Tinus - does it look like this?

Chilly feeling but not actually overly cold this morning with more cloud cover.

Morning, just checked the forecast for this week on here, it says snow for here tomorrow morning. Had my head buried in work all week, brief forays into the model thread and I presumed it was all just early season excitement, not real possibility of cold. Time will tell I suppose but wasn't expecting that forecast.

Not quite as low last night dropping to 5.0°C. Sunny again to begin the day although not the clear blue skies of yesterday. 8.6°C

Yes, blowing a hoolie today! That's more like it.

Temp got down to 4.2°C this morning. Currently sunny spells and 8.8°C.

Gap in the rain for you and me..

No that’s not right. If it’s rain, which no doubt it will be, there won’t be a gap at all.

Much cloudier now and looks threatening, no showers as yet but that looks like changing soon.

Don't get excited! I've had one rain shower and sun behind it since. Which I need to heat the house lol
