Wow never heard that before. The sound of rain and hail falling from over half a mile away! Amazing! Sky gone a strange beige colour too!

Cracking thunderstorm at 3pm. The sky was pitch black! Clearing from the South now.

Got caught in a thunderstorm in Wells and drove through the heaviest hail I think I ever have. Cracking stuff!

Sky went very dark here and we got a downpour but no hail

I could see distant flashes ahead of me as I walked home from work...seems it was lightning from a cell almost 50 miles away Quite odd because it doesn't feel stormy here at all

After reaching 13.5°C for three days in a row the high today was 14.1°C, just the odd shower here during the day otherwise it's been dry and sunny.

had a fantastic though short lived storm here in Wells earlier, torrential rain and hail and one clap of thunder. I thought it was going to be dry today too!

Rumour has it the MAD thread is springing into life, dare I take a look?!
