A warm and sunny afternoon peaking at 23.1C has enabled me to get some of the late summer jobs done. Still picking raspberries, although looking a tad drawn now, and could do with some rain methinks. Overall a good afternoon to finish the airshow, although I think Sunday is a bit of a let down after the other days as it doesn't really get a full show, just a 3hour sprint to the finish, no Red Arrows and plain old plain old like the previous years, not that I'm bothered I don't go anyway.

The Met Office app has us down for white cloud all day, but it's glorious out there.

Practically blue skies, or am I seeing things?

Sunny up until a few minutes ago when it started to cloud over. Felt very warm while the sun was out reaching, warmer than the 21.8°C it reached.

A surprisingly good convective / sky watching afternoon with a few sharp showers in the last half hour.

It seems the front is pepping up nicely in response to the very warm air, it nudged 25c earlier this afternoon.

A good afternoon, was out spraying the car, breeze was edging on pain in the @rs3 but with the warmth it was ideal. Picked up 26.5C this afternoon and it as certainly very warm out there.  A decent shower heading across Dorchester and north Weymouth right now.. Currently checking where Florence is heading..

Piggy in the middle!  No rain here, blue skies disappeared to give variable cloud this afternoon, some looked threatening but came to nothing.

The "suggestion" of something over us didn't materialise...

Morning all, a drop of the clear juice last night just enough to dampen the surfaces, so off into today, after an overnight low of 15.7°C things warming up and a breeze developing nicely, currently 18.1°C..

wow - It hit 23.9°C not long ago. It has dropped a bit now, since some cloud moved in.

Grey sky has been relegated to white sky this afternoon lol with the temperature responding, above 18C. The forecast did warn of a much cooler day so I'm not surprised, just a bit unwelcome.

Max this afternoon was 23.8°C and it was very humid too.  The sky was very hazy but the sun still felt hot on my bare arms while I was picking blackberries.

Another beaut of a morning.

I haven't voted in @DiagonalRedLine's poll yet. Still toying between 'Terrific' and 'Best in Space'

He he hee! Probably should have included an option of “Terrific Summer that was very, very, very, very nearly the best one in Space!” ;)

The fact the models are already churning out some runs with winter wonderland synoptics gives me hope that this winter will be a good one!
