A fair amount of rain here for yesterday. 7:30am Sat to 7:30am Sun I recorded 15.8mm. a lot came from a deluge between about 6 and 7 this morning. Not looked at all today but we don't seem to have had that much. Mostly drizzly with the odd moderate burst.

20mm of rain overnight into this morning. It took a real while to clear today too, just remaining drizzly and unpleasant until later this afternoon when the sun poked through and it briefly felt warm. Looking thundery out there now - even a quick rumble from a shower would add some interest.

Had a few showers this morning and in the early afternoon, drizzly rain since then. Hope it clears up for the meteor shower later but I don't know..

Petty much par for the course, peak of Perseid shower means overcast and blocking the view, after a damp night, the cloud is still around, all be it broken now. An overnight low of 15.0°C at: 06:38 starts the day.

How do you think it's going to be for the next 3 or 4 days in Dorset?

Pretty fair I would suspect, apart from Thursday which looks damp. Temps around low-mid 20's possibility still exists for showers today.

Do you think it will be predominantly overcast this week? Meto are keen on going with bits of sun but lots of cloud.

Anyhow, at least the rain's holding off for my plans up to midweek.

Two virtually carbon copy days with large amount of Stratocumulus and occasional very warm sunshine along with a gusty wind, 23.3c max yesterday and 23.8c tops today. Probably very similar again tomorrow.
