Lovely day again in Salcombe, very warm and sunny. Might be the warmest day for a little while but no complaints.

Devon Air Ambulance flew over about hour and a half ago, it landed in the rugby club in Salcombe which is an amazing sight. Fair play to them for having the skill to put it down in a residential area with loads of trees - obviously they are trained to do it, but even so!

Accompanying sirens on the roads around here about 20min before it landed, fingers crossed it isn't anything serious. Looked like it was flying back out towards Derriford Hospital rather than Exeter or Bristol.

We've been to Kingston Lacy today, love it there and a perfect summer day too!

Noticeable temperature difference between there and home, presumably due to what I assume was a sea breeze.

Looks like Burt or Ernie or even beaker

Reached 23.1°C today with the usual sea breeze keeping the temperature down, yesterday there wasn't a sea breeze and it reached 28.9°C, not far off the highest here this year.

Hit 30.0C yesterday so this summer has at least achieved the magic number in each of the 3 months.

As a reward, it's cloudy again this morning...

End of our 3 day camping trip near Salisbury this morning, watched a bank of fog roll in just now and the temperature has dropped! Otherwise, a beautiful weekend.

Amazing looking clouds whilst leaving Mallorca earlier today. I imagine they developed into storms soon after this picture was taken.

So will today be the last day to pop the 30C mark here I wonder, we only JUST crept over with 30.2°C at: 14:06 and now @ 25C falling quite steadily @ 1.3C/hr so might make a cool early morning at this rate!

The temperature of the last 4 days has been very similar here. Just nudging above 28C each day, but not quite reaching the values of earlier in the summer. Again, looking forward to the fresher weather. It's just so much easier to work out in all day.

We were just sat outside enjoying the warmth, stars appearing and bats flitting around and commenting how this summer seems to be something of a blur.

Endless days of hot sunshine with just the odd few days to a week blip. Let's not forget these conditions started with a Thursday in April then with the incredible early May bank holiday weekend.

Morning All an overnight low of 14.8°C at: 04:32 starts us off today. Noticeable that the wind has shifted into the NW, a sign of change maybe..
