I looked at the fax charts showing a number of fronts and wondered why.

Today's sky has been fascinating to view while driving to and from Bath in mid morning then mid afternoon as I am sure the weak fronts were visible as banks of mid or high level Stratocumulus as well as other intriguing cloud types with loads of clear sky in between.

I'll be up to 207 hours of sunshine after today's rollover. The Met Office derived average is 234 hours, and we still have 9 days to go.

That's more times than I have recorded in the last five years lol

After a low of 15.3°C, it's currently blue skies and 22.6°C.

It looks as though it will be another windy day here! It was blowing a hoolie yesterday too.

Very cloudy this morning but humid after a warm night. This needs to burn off fast!

Shouldn't be an issue here. This week's temps don't look anywhere near what they were a few weeks ago.

Reached 22.3°C but now dropped to 21.6°C. As nice as the sea breeze is at times, it hasn’t reached 25°C here for about a week now and it’s yet to get close to 30°C this summer.

It actually feels cool today, in comparison to the rest of July. A bit disappointing really. It look's like a second day where the Met Office temps have been overcooked.

Disappointing day here. Could do with the sun a bit stronger to burn the cloud off. 25C despite cloud cover though.

Just to even things up it's almost totally clear blue sky and 27.9c here, although it did start with low cloud/mist which burnt off by 10.00 .

Outdoor workdays start on Thursday, giggling annoyingly at rain risk on Friday and Monday!!

Yep, was mizzle central down here for most of the morning. Sun has finally broken through in the past 10min, temps will respond nicely I'm sure.

Just had a nice paddle down at the river, quite refreshing.
