So the heat continues, 28.9C, RH 49% and pressure 1016mb falling very slowly. I've given up checking for any precip, looking around there's differing stories, so it's take you pick on a model and hope.

Blue skies and warm but with the sea breeze it’s only 21.7°C here.

If you believe the radar it rained here an hour ago but it certainly didn’t although it did turn a bit cloudier.

WOAH THAT WAS EXTREME...

Just had a slight pick up in the breeze, and as I stepped outside the lightest of drizzle could be felt in the air. Counted the patio window and there are about 10 miniscule drops of rain that had blown in

In contrast to the extreme events that you guys have had this morning... it’s peeing down here... shame it’s so heavy as it won’t do the ground any good!

Neighbour and friend in Taunton for the day, texted to say that it's absolutely tanking it down, just as they have to get the bus to get to the hospital!

Just a few spits and spots in the wind a little while ago from the small cell that's currently to the north of us.  May as well not have bothered.....

Well....that's a shed load more than we will see down here. The dome is well and truly stuck in place, not a drop not a drizzle drop nowt..

Drove through a heavy downpour between Bristol and Weston late this afternoon but it was so localised, some places remained dry, including my house!

S few spots of rain here, luckily nothing heavier fell to register in my gauge. I would have kicked it all across the garden otherwise! Up to 12 consecutive dry days, and I am determined to break the 14 days record, even if it means putting an umbrella over it.
