Some impressive anvils from the storms over Central Hampshire/North of Southampton from what I can see here.

All quiet here and not expecting anything. 37 days since rain now, broke and outpassed the previous record back in 2013 of 33 days.

Currently 25.9c and Sunny

I'm glad there's no torrential showers here, they're just a waste of time. They beat all of the flowers to pieces, and it doesn't do anything to the garden because it has been so dry, the water doesn't get any time to soak in to the ground.

Warm sunshine here still but there is a cell just to my southeast that has been there for over half an hour and not moved at all! Very dark skies. Somewhere nearby will be getting a good drenching.

Exactly Mapantz, it will take weeks of intermittent fronts over a large area to bring soil moisture back to Spring levels

Yes probably, very very heavy. Paddling pool is nearly full

View to the NE and the clouds to the SW.  Beautiful cirrus all round SE/SW.  Hot and humid, just over 28C atm.

Really hoping a downpour comes later as there are lots around. No rain so far today but it's turned cloudy. I can hear distance thunder too.

The dry spell continues here, sunny for most of the day with the occasional bit of cloud coming g over. Reached 20.6°C.

According to the rain radar here in Bath it’s supposed to be chucking it down, but not a drop has fallen

Two pointless showers this afternoon, the first where the boy and I counted 9 raindrops in 5 minutes then a sharper one around 18.00 . It's currently extremely black to the S/SW, the radar indicates downpours a few miles way and probably a shock to the system for The Deverills/Mere etc.

Very heavy thundery rain now here and with no lighting or thunder

It's an absolutely horrendous monsoon isn't it Tom. Thunder heard as I type. Not sure which direction! It developed VERY quickly!

Brightened up again, we had a few splashes of drizzle around lunch time and again at around 2pm

Cell to the east just missed me here by a few miles which was annoying. That lot over Warminster now is insane! They must be getting drowned.

No change here. Darker skies to my east, clear skies to my west, and sunny intervals in between. As such we've got above 26C this afternoon.
