Pretty much sunny all the way, apart from the occasional Cu floating by. Maxed at 26.1°C

For a day that was forecast to be the cloudiest of the week, it's been very sunny overall with just fair weather cumulus here and there, and now a bit of altocumulus that's flattened out a bit. Also achieved 26C, so cooler than recent days but still better than I thought.

Feels cooler today but still sunny with almost completely clear skies. Currently 19.4°C after a high of 23.9°C earlier.

Ok people. When did it actually last rain in Somerset? Does anyone know? Feels like a lifetime ago. I’m not complaining!

Yep. I was surprised by today's temps as well.

Morning All, an overnight low of 12.4C was a welcomed break to the recent warm nights. The channel is looking clear this morning with a clear view out over to Ol' Harry.

Last significant rain here fell in May.  June had 2 days with rainfall of >0.5mm.

Overnight low of 12.6. Lovely! Not seen the grey skies we currently have for a while

North Cornwall has some beautiful beaches...Mawgan Porth being one of my favourites. If the weather's like this, you won't need anything else. The really touristy spots like Padstow , Port Isaac and St Ives get really busy and I personally prefer them out of season. Tintagel castle is worth a visit,as is St Nectan's glen; then pop next door to Boscastle. Some stunning walks past the harbour onto the headland or if you want shade head inland from the car park up the Valency Valley.  Impossible to believe such a peaceful location was scene to oneof the most devastating floods in the UK. Enjoy!

Looks surprisingly dark over towards Dartmoor, radar suggests not much rain but looks a lot more threatening than that! Might be a different story in another hour or so...

Fed up about talking about sun, heat dry conditions..

I have family in the UAE who told me you soon get bored of the heat, especially this time of year. Didn't know what they meant til now.

Looks cloudy to the north of here but blue skies overhead. Cooler again but still feels warmer than the 19.3°C it currently is.

This truly is an incredible spell of summer weather!

The 2 'cooler' days have still got above 26c and it looks set to be similar tomorrow then hotter Friday into the weekend!

The wait continues

Back to the weather, a shower has formed just off the coast of Bournemouth, looks very threatening but will it give us any lightning? Nothing in the forecast so probably not

It's coming home (The England Bus that is...). Morning All, a misty start, so out of character for the last month or so starts the day with a low of 13.1C, with the windscreen covered in moisture, given that the RH is 82%. Channel is hazy this morning...
