Well that was an interesting drive home back to Poole. Never drove in rain like that before. The roads were rivers!

Yeehah! 1.2mm of rain from just one solitary shower. Temperature dropped over 5C so the heat has eased as has the opportunity for showers..

Short lived, sharp shower here about an hour ago.  Raindrops the size of old pennies, last a couple of minutes, that was it.

Weather looking prefect on Saturday for the Yeovilton air show, just hope it ain't quite as hot as the last time I went back in 2013 with temps in the mid 30s back then!

Oh and they're putting up a big screen for the England match, bit odd going to an airshow and ending up watching a football match I must admit but it's not every day england reach this stage of a world cup though is it!

Not according to wikipedia who say

Warminster (/ˈwɔːrmɪnstər/) is a town and civil parish in western Wiltshire, England,

Right NOW it could be anywhere in Wiltshire as there no precip there anyway..

Saw a few clouds pass by mid afternoon in the distance on a mostly blue sky bright sunny day here.

10 days out of 11 at 28c and above, 3 of those (including today) nudged above 30c and the odd day out was yesterday.

It looks likely to become 14 days out of 15 too!!!

You've done exceptionally well. Not on that level here.

25.3°C was the max here today.

Here's the rest:

Currently 23C, clear skies and almost no wind. Max temp today completely dependent on if and when a sea breeze fires up, I'd probably say about 25-27C

Our two sharp showers produced 0.6mm rain.  I was surprised it actually made the gauge!

Currently 27.7°C, hazy with a light breeze.  Reckon we could get to 30 this afternoon.

29c here without a cloud or breeze in sight, after a overnight low of 12.9c. Much lower than I thought.

Yesterdays 'Micro' shower was not measurable on the weather station, only lasting 20 seconds and only lightly coating surfaces before evaporating immediately.

So technically the drought continues with June 7th being the last day we had rain so 29 days and counting. Previously thought this was 16 days, however a station error put me off my stats!
