Just watered me onions, spuds and sweetcorn and now it's started raining.

Not much though. I stand by my decision.

Still not had any rain of any quantity here since 7th June.  The 15th and 17th June I had the rain meter record 0.2mm and 0.1mm.
June total was only 2.8mm.

Have thought I might give the rain meter a trickle test one of these days, in case its thinking its time recording is up :)

Hmmm this isn’t in the forecast, thick sea fog and a cool wind. Surprising given SST’s over 17c and a not particularly dry airmass!!

No fog here but I noticed the breeze was on the cool side. Certainly feels cool in comparison to what we’ve had lately.

I can see, what looks like sheets of rain falling. It's not rain though, it must be fog or mist, but i've never seen it move in like that. It's falling like rain/hail shafts.

With only a high of 22.7c yesterday and a little cloudy, great to see blue skies today and by the looks a very hot weekend too.
19.1c here now and was down to 15.8c at 2am, after the norm we have been having of 17.5 to 20c minimums of late.

I can see some cracking towers going up towards Poole. There's virtually no wind here, so it is just going straight up.

Currently 25.3°C

it's interesting I am looking towards Poole from the other direction (W) and can see the activity building, over the coastal fringe. From the the below image it might suggest a little later we might get lucky with some rainfall as we sit in the convergence zone.

We're living on the edge.

Although, there's plenty of convection to NW of here and the area above.

Shower weakened as it got towards here, and them skimmed around me. Just a few spots.
