Mr Grimsley has managed 10.6mm of rain.

I don't want any rain as it will ruin a new record. if it stays dry today, it'll be 15 consecutive dry days.

Breeze picking up but not really making it feel much cooler even though it’s dropped to 25.3°C.

We've missed all the rain.

After many days or even weeks with beautiful clear skies, today has ushered in a change. Plenty of altocumulus clouds developing this afternoon, however the cap at the upper mid levels is restricting any further storm developments.

30c here for the forth day now, however feels incredibly uncomfortable compared to recent days

Radars been showing light rain over here for a while now but nothing at ground level and the skies quite bright.

The haze has become a sheet of cloud with occasional breaks for sunshine.

No rain and 28.5C

Still rather overcast, with the occasional break with the sun peaking out. 28C, dry and humid

29c is incredible given there’s been almost no sun since 10am. It really is tropical out there.

With the cloud cover there could be some very high minima tonight!!!

Extremely humid sultry outside I can’t honestly remember the last time it was this hot without sun.  Can’t remember the last time it was this humid too...

Bloody useless rain on the way, not welcome at all, unless it was a thunderstorm.

Interesting map of humidity levels. Even at 62%, i'm not finding it humid.

I'm measuring 58% and climbing and the missus is moaning about the humidity!

Have to be honest, it's been a cracking day today. Plenty of variety, a good soaking this morning and beautifully hot, sunny and humid this afternoon. Not strictly for this location but the Mount Batten obs are broadly speaking the same as what we've had here in Salcombe (note the big jump in temp this afternoon):
