I see the Met Office has extended the thunderstorm warning east putting more of us under it. Not convinced I'll see anything but you never know. However currently cloudy but feeling pretty oppressive.

View to SW from the edge of the village about an hour and a half ago, plus the cloud covered sun.

Met office warning now extends this far east but I don't think there's much chance of seeing anything.  Another glorious day with blue skies from the off

Hot and sunny here.....some mid level cloud to the South and West.......my interest though is on the rash of storms developing near the channel islands as there generally drifting northwards

Well a good drenching for Salcombe and Kingsbridge, has been raining more or less non stop since 8.30. Never really torrential but moderate to heavy all the time, with a few distant rumbles.

Only 16c here about 15min ago!

Fingers crossed it'll brighten up a bit later.

Despite the increased amounts of cloud it’s by far the warmest feel of this week. Dew point up to 17c and with 27c it’s feeling juicy!

Most of the heavy stuff missed Torquay and the sun is starting to come out now. 8mm so far today, only a few rumbles of thunder.

Just 25°C here and dark & dingy.

Rain just to your west seems to suggest things are beginning to fire up once ashore. As usual the dome seems to keep everything away from us, as this shows...

Still cloudy here although the suns just about visible and the temperatures suddenly shot up to 28.7°C so yet again it’s the warmest day of the year.

17c here, rain showers most of day. Heavy at times. Good news is sea temp at Seaton is 17c too so great for a swim. A relief from the heat. Cloudburst just now

Still thick cloud here, but the sun is just about shining through. Very humid, was very noticeable when I went out to feed the birds!

Just had a small area of large drop light rain pass over, not enough to wet the ground but felt nice to stand out in. Temp has dropped away slightly to 24.9C.
