Just looked at the UV Index on the Met Office - most of England at ‘8’ this afternoon with one ‘9’ in the middle so v high. Although below the map it says that ‘8’ is rare in the UK and cannot be exceeded! Make of that what you will....

I can't wait to receive the weatherflow station! The UV and Solar sensors look to be calibrated extremely well.

And it’s done it again, by a bigger margin too. 27.9°C and still time for it to rise.

It is time to get a weather station me thinks - what is the best one ranging between £80 - £110 and where is the best place to buy them? :)

It depends what you looking for really, do you want to build a website or just run local and then manually issues temperatures as and where you feel like it?

There is a thread running where you can gain advice but of course as a local we will offer advice.

What are you thinking of doing?

Still warming up despite the evening setting in. Probably at max now though of 28.C. Some cirrus way over to the west but not overhead.

Went for a walk earlier this afternoon, seemed like a good idea at the time.

The ice cream just about made it worth it though

Think I found the driest grass round here too.

Just for my use, so not for a website.

Still 27.1°C here at the moment, humidity 42%.  A difficult night for sleeping I think.
