Dew point of 4C here so humidity has just slipped under 20%.

30c breached for the first time since 21st June last year! Although it is so hot I am loving how dry the heat is because it isn't sticky or uncomfortable at all.

I see 27.2°C on my station?! I still haven't surpassed 27.4°C from back in May, which surprises me.

Just thought I'd post this;

It's an ongoing memorial for a hermit that lived down here for years. Everyone who knew of him puts a rock on the pile if they going for a walk down here.

He's not under it is he?

Wow, at 5pm Filton had a temp/dew of 29.4/-0.8C and a humidity of 14%!

Here a bit more mundane, 23/12 and 52% humidity around that time. Max of 25.2C and hovering around 23-24C most of the day due to a sea breeze.

Min was 7.9C so cool nights still, a bit different to a station that's 10 miles north of me as the crow flies, at 280m altitude that had a min of 16.1C!

I’ll take the compliment. :good:

I regularly suffer from a low self-esteem myself so I know what it’s like.

Yeah can be frustrating  I guess we just got to have faith and believe those of us with low self-esteem or such, will get through things. In a way, think a lot of people get periods of lower self-esteem at times, but some being good at hiding it.

Good thing the weather is so good at the moment (maybe a tad too hot tho) ☀️

Lovely breeze past two evenings, perfect for cooling the house down after hot days. Top temp today 29.6c compared to 29.1c yesterday so very little in it!

Maxed out at 28.4. Not quite hottest day of the year... perhaps tomorrow. Loving the cool nights and the low humidity making it really pleasant. I thought it was the heat that gets to me, but clearly it's humidity!

Reached 23.1°C here with the sea breeze still keeping it cooler than inland but less so than yesterday.

Possibly the most pleasant 31C I've ever experienced this afternoon. So much so, I hadn't realised it got that high until I checked the weather station. Also coincided with the lowest humidity of 15%!

Highly impressive diurnal range, 30.9c max then 11.1c min!

Slight change this morning with a few feathers of Cirrus and a breeze from the off.

Diurnal range here similar, Andy.  31.5°C max and 11.8°C min.  Agree about the high temperatures being more agreeable with the low humidity, also the lack of thunderflies which usually accompany the heat and high humidity.

Overnight low of 10.4C but rising very quickly this morning. This mornings' walk in Manchester has the smoke odour lingering, and the view here (Stockport)shows signs of the smoldering heath fire up on the moors in the Peak District, and is very hazy today..

Quite a keen ENE wind here this morning and the low cloud has rolled in and felt quite cool during the dog walk, which I wasn't expecting. Checked the weather station when I  got back,it's dropped back to 13.9C!image.thumb.png.5f56f4f592fa8e88cdb7560ffc05ba10.png

Cooler than than this time yesterday. 22.7°C

I'm starting to think that this period won't be the warmest of the year, here.

Temps still rising for another hot afternoon at 27.C.

I'm really noticing that the grass is very dry and it's turning brown.

Been doing that here for over a week already. Looking unlikely anything will be added to the 0.4mm of rain here this month.

Not quite the dizzy 30s of yesterday here today but still managed 29C and a Mediterranean sky all day!
