Certainly a disadvantage of being by the sea. 16°C here yet not far inland it’s about 5C warmer.

Morning All, not such a warm start after an overnight low of 11.7C, temperature is climbing even though we have a cloud covering. Light breeze from the NE.

Mostly seems to be breaking up before it reaches land.

Absolutely wonderful, not! Out all day, left washing on the line as no rain/showers expected anywhere near home, it will all be dry. We're 50 miles from home and the radar shows it about to rain there!!!!!!

Well pretty decent day further west, got up to 23c out towards Plymouth when we were there earlier. Back in Salcombe and we're at the 19-20c mark. Sun has managed to break through nicely. Sorry!

After I spoke too soon, it's been a largely cloudy afternoon despite the forecast. Very disappointing really. No doubt it will clear again in time for sunset.
