I can't believe some people are looking forward to the jet coming back but if it was up to me I would never have it ever again!

Better winters(snow) and better summers(warm and settled) for us! But to be fair the easterlies give terrible weather to the people up north and on the east coast.

What a lovely damp greeting home after two weeks away. The sun can come back now!

Were off to Torquay  next week.

Looks like  a week of sunshine of showers ?   Typical as we've had hardly any rain here in Worcestershire for weeks.

Just wondering which forecast you guys think is likely to be correct , as each one I look at is different ?  Thanks

Yesterday was great it was like a perfect summer day. Today was just cloudy but at least you can still go outside without the rain and drizzle :)

Morning all, same again here. Dull, overcast and the what appears like a standard 15c. Am hoping for a bit more sunshine today.

Cloud going to be painfully slow to clear in parts of the south and south west, likely to be well into the afternoon here

Cloudy and really quite cool this morning. And some people were saying the west is doing well out of this weather lol?

Starting to turn into a quite a dull spell now. Only 51 hours of sun in the last 12 days now.

What a rubbish day. It has been drizzling for the last two hours.

I guess we have developed some kind of inversion. This few days looked set to be warm and humid with sunshine and potentially thundery showers!! Instead it's gloomy, occasionally damp and stuck just below 15c.

Wasn't looking too special down in this part of the South Hams after the school run this morning - 15c and pretty thick mist rolling in off the sea. Great.

Mist has lifted in the past hour, so much so I can actually see Kingsbridge over the estuary (could hardly see down the road!), and there is actually some blue sky looking east, so fingers crossed for a better afternoon

Could you send it this way please, Mapantz?  it's still horribly grey and dismal here, even had light drizzle earlier.

Wow you have a Kestrel, is it tame, can we use it to catch the field mice in my garden?

Could someone turn the sea breeze off? It was quite pleasant until the breeze started. Down to 16.7°C even with the sun still poking through every so often.

Got to love how this area of activity in the SW sits right in the convergence zone.
