After a totally grey day, a little muted colour as the sun set.

The murk has gone, watching the rain activity out over the channel last night as it scooted by. This morning some slight haze out over the channel, Old Harry is visible so not so bad out there. Currently 12.7C with a hint of a breeze.

A lovely sunny start, warming up after a chilly start. Currently 16C. Looks like being the last properly summery day (i.e. mid twenties and 12hrs+ of sun) for a least 10days with copious sun and shower activity from the south and then a more pronounced pattern change into week.

A very nice day, but a slow burner in regards to temps. Currently 20.5°C

Perfect fishing weather tonight!

Beautiful day here and a fresher warmth than days ago. Sunny, blue skies with some wispy cloud; temp around 20c in shade but who sits in the shade on a comfortably warm sunny day?

Since I've changed the batteries in my outdoor sensor array I've been getting more sensible readings. It was 2 1/2yrs since last changed.

I shall change them more often from now on.

Max Temp currently 19.1c

A delayed start but the onshore breeze has finally picked up so down to 17.6°C now after a warm afternoon. Reached 21.9°C earlier.

Never expected these temps today 24.7°C at the moment. Light variable winds, mainly from an Easterly direction have helped.

People on the MAD thread discussing how they'd rather have a westerly, this is perfect for us though!

Certainly is here as it reduces the sea breeze which at this time of year is still quite cool, can be the difference on a sunny afternoon between 16°C and 21°C.

Lots of wispy cirrus here this afternoon and evening.  Just a couple of examples.

Staying all night?  Looks pretty idyllic.  Good fishing!

It depends on how we get on with catches. It's a neap tide almost, which isn't helpful. However, the spot we're in is right near the mouth of Poole Harbour, so a neap tide is what you want because on normal tides the water moves in and out so fast, it'll carry your line up and down the beach. May stay 'til 1 or 2am and decide whether to try around the corner - Ballard down, the far left side of Swanage bay.

Morning All, an overcast sky starts the day, with a light breeze in from the NE. Showers showing up on he radar already so a promising start to the day. Currently 14.7C.

No two days alike at the moment. Monday sunny, Tuesday overcast, Wednesday sunny, yes you guested it Thursday overcast.

To be honest a surprisingly grotty start. Overcast, drizzle, low light levels and low cloud base, not what I was expecting.
