In a clear cloudless environment we have 26.7C sat out in the garden, pleasant and not humid, plain ol' June weather....nice.... Now lets hope for three fine days and a thunderstorm!

Monster storm out in the channel, might only hit the tip of Cornwall anyway.

A warm start of 14C sees us up and running today with wall to wall blue and a slight haze out over the channel,, and some As beginning to form.

What another amazing start to the day, already 22C but OH WOW, just looked at the satellite, there is a lot of murk out there. Was hoping to get most of today as sunshine however looks like we'll lose the sun about midday until at Wednesday morning.

Suns gone now and the low cloud has filled in. Still mild at 22C however that will likely fall slowly through the afternoon due to the lack on insolation,

Sunny start then clouded over around lunchtime and now sunny again and no onshore breeze meaning it feels warm. 21.3°C.

Started off sunny, got cloudy around 11am, was cloudy since and only just brightening up again. Still feels rather pleasant and very light breeze

Morning all, interesting start to the day, breezy, gloomy but not raining, an interesting start to June. Currently 13.2C.

That moment when you decide today needs to be wash day due to a busy week and it's going to be dry then it's raining!

Has to be said there is quite a clump of completely unforecast rain heading forwards central southern England - if that makes landfall any where its a major forecasting fail!!

NW radar suggest some light rain in the channel just lingering off the Dorset coast and yet the NW SR forecast has nothing on it all day, you really do have to question how good the model is, considering the rain has been there for hours, and not a hint from the updated model. Watching the track of the rain in the channel it's going to be a close call, it looks as though it will miss Poole & Bournemouth, possibly come ashore around Weymouth as it's tracking WNW/NW but also appears to be dying in the process.

Now with some slight shift it's even looking more as though it's going to hog the channel for a while longer..so looks like Dorset will be missed.

A pretty boring, stale  day. Managed 16.1°C

I'm sat making up rigs for tomorrow night's fishing - looking forward to the first one of the year.
