Just boring old rain here and looking at the radar unless there's more development to the south east of here then the wait for a storm to finally hit this area continues.

seen much rain today jtay ive seen hardly any

Bits and pieces jy, but nothing heavy. It all seemed to fizzle out here then pick up North of Salisbury. Still, we get a bonus evening in the garden now.

OH is having lunch at the Yew Tree tomorrow... She was up at the Radnor Arms for lunch today. Life of flippin' Reilly.

In the gap here, been pretty boring weather wise here for about a week or so now, not really seen the sun much.

Sunny and feeling warm here now after a dull and drizzly day earlier. No sign of any storms looking st the sky and the radar. 18.6°C

Everything we've been supposed to get here has just not happened. Sad.

Well with the Met having ramped it up issuing an Amber warning, so I certainly hope it won’t be now. It’s a long time between now and when the warning is due to expire at 6am for things to get interesting. Stay safe everyone.

It's been the best day of the week by a country mile! Plenty of sunshine and warm/humid. In between the sunny times there was a half hour deluge that gave 16mm!!

Had a bit of light rain here this afternoon, but otherwise just misty low cloud clearing to flat mid level cloud this afternoon, brief sunshine about 4pm when the temp rose to 19.7c

Onshore wind so definitely no surface based storms expected here. The Met Office could have used the ECM 00z output in deciding to extend the amber warning to cover my area, otherwise I've seen little sign of any intense rain (let alone 'severe thunderstorms') here, including on their own map and location forecast.

I don't think it's happening. I think the MetO ramped this one too much!
