Same here... dont see anything interesting on radar for our part of country unless light rain is your thing.

Looks like the light rain is here to stay for a while further inland.

Although its been grey here and a couple of moderate rain spells at 8-9am and midday, the afternoon has been dry and has been 18-19c, with a high in the last hour of 19.5c.

Must say it was good weather this afternoon for a bit of gardening and planted out 50 leeks.

the stuff over the home counties and SE England looks to be weakening considerably on radar....still some embedded convection especially on the southern/SE flank......I'm not entirely sure what to expect here.....we've a total low cloud cover all day so no visibilty of what's incoming....feeling quite cool

Hello jy. Hope all is well with you, soaking aside.

Yes, it looks quite tasty to the East.

Still, we did OK over the weekend. I got my own soaking taking those snaps above. Great fun. ?️

What a rubbish day, more like early autumn than late spring/ early summer

We did get a coupe of thunderstorms on Saturday evening with brief downpours, though not as intense as some parts of the country saw.

It reached 26.1C yesterday with some cumulus bubbling around, but no storms formed.

Generally cloudy today, with a maximum of 20.3C.  Still 17.7C at 23:35 though.

I don't really think there will be any thunderstorms this way tonight but maybe some rain with heavy outbreaks embedded. You never know though.

I've just found these on a video from my new PTZ camera;

That must have been a huge flash, but I don't remember seeing it.

And another..

I don't remember seeing any of that! There was not thunder though, that's for sure.
