Been a sultry hot day today and lovely sunshine, 27.3c at 4pm, just dropped off a little and up the road a little drizzle with a lot of cloud creeping in from the channel.

Looks like you’ve got what’s left of the deluge they had near Brighton earlier. Probably won’t even reach here.

It's been a cracker here today.

I'm sat out watching the high level whispy cloud edge North, while the lower patchy stuff heads SSW.

Not liking the look of the muck heading up from France. Could be an evening ruiner. :(

Hang on. Something's going up to the SE. Can't really see from here, so going for a wander. Will report back in a bit.

Huge storm here in the Arundel area earlier, surprised no-one else in the West Sussex region was reporting it, major flooding and lightning.

Well last night was one insane storm. At first it was north of me over Milton Keynes Northampton way and looked as if it was heading north westerly and I thought damn it, I’ve missed the jackpot. An hour later and it was back building right over me. I couldn’t believe my luck! So amazing!

I do have a few video clips but they’re too big in size. Does anyone know how to downgrade the quality? The length of them are only 5-7 seconds

First sign of anything getting close to here. Not sure what state it’ll be in if and when it reaches here as it keeps breaking up and intensifying again.

Very muggy.

Temp 20C  Humidity 78%  Dewpoint 16C  currently.

Not much chance of a severe storm like last night - not that that excited so many of us. But storms have fired - mainly in France so we might piggly back on that. Certainly juicy enough in the atmosphere.

A dribble of drizzle, perhaps?

After all of that heat and humidity, zilch again.

Yep. Still going on in France but nothing seems to want to enter the Channel just yet.

A warm and humid evening, still 22.4°C and a nice warm breeze coming in through the window.

Today, I put my outdoor Tomatoes out, and planted sweetcorn. I do hope there are no hail storms in the offing, or, convective gusts.

Should be fine.  Mine are steaming away this last week with night temps well up.

Muggy night, 20.7c at midnight and still 17.5c at 4am, when it started to drop to a low 0f 16c at 6.45.
Now, 16.3c, grey skies and we have had a little drizzle in the air since 5am
