It's dying. 22:20 update clearly shows it now.

Well for half an hour it was terrific.

The whole week looks interesting for Southern counties. Troughs across us, or near to us and plenty of convergence zones.

An I hope you get something too! It actually turns me in to a grump around the household when things don't go to plan. I try my hardest not to be an a-hole. lol

What a great day it turned into yesterday, glorious blue skies and sun all the way, temp only reached 23.5c but with that very light SE wind it felt warmer.
More blue skies this morning and its 18c already.
Looking like another great sunny day and a little warmer than yesterday. Hoping the mid afternoon showers move on by as they have the last few days.

Can definitely feel the humidity here in Somerset, just waiting for this pesky low cloud to burn back. Hoping for a storm today, but netweather forecast giving nothing, yet met office have a warning out. Still looking good for sun and heat regardless .

Yesterday the mist and low cloud that followed the storms burnt off between midday-13.00, hopefully the same will happen today because high humidity, 19c and dull is frustrating!

Unusual for it to be several degrees cooler inland than it is on the coast. Usually the other way round when the sea breeze kicks in. Up to 25.3°C here.

If you compare the location of somewhere under the blanket of cloud to one on the SE coast, there's a difference of 11'c!

Incredible how a few hours of sunlight can cause such a temperature contrast to an area of low cloud.

The view from torquay, the fair weather clouds inland towards the west/moors are starting to tower up as it keeps heating up, nice sea breeze here don't expect to see a storm over here maybe dartmoor if they keep lifting?

(also hi :), i did have an account many moons ago but i forgot the lot and started over )

Hey, don't forget to put your location in your bio! Cumulus field definitely beginning to grow across the south coast. Bournemouth/Southampton area may be a good place to target for any storms.

Suits me.

Not much in the way of cloud yet but these have appeared recently.
