Have had an almighty flash and immediate crash of thunder . Like the sky was being torn in two. Quite scary .

Storm totally died in the Bristol area, not sure what to make of what happens next. Hopefully something later gets through.

Can't make up my mind if that's it or there's more to come as the rain clouds haven't gone .

The huge thunderclap was about 300metres away I think . I hope no one was hurt .

Just saw a distant flash to the south.

2 days ago we barely nudged 13c as a max, right now it's 22.30 and above 21c and feels like the Mediterranean.
