South West and Central Southern England Regional Weather Discussion 21/05/2018 Onwards

Recommended Posts

Howdy!

Please continue your discussions of the weather in the South of the M4 (aka the South West and Central Southern England 😏) thread!

What a remarkable month it’s been so far with a lot of dry, bright weather around, although it looks as though you guys could see a few of these baby’s popping about!

I've just been looking at my weather data for this month - quite a rare one. Humidity has been exceptionally low during daylight hours, every single day. My daily average sunshine hours are at 8.6. Temperature ranges have been some of the biggest I have recorded too, thanks to lower temperatures at night.

Starting to feel hot and humid here in northernmost Hampshire.

Clouds building and it "feels" like a storm is brewing.

Afternoon boys and girls...

Just back from Tour 1. If any of you get the opportunity to go, do it.

This season has been far from a classic so far in the US, but Paul B and the Netweather team managed to find storms every day.
It's a trip that will live long in the memory for all sorts of reasons and I loved every second of it.

Now, let's see what the South of England can deliver. 😀

Sat in the garden, boy playing madly as only toddlers do, admiring TCu in all directions. Not sure when we last had a convective day!?
