Loving it! Feeling spoilt here in Brum, it's definitely making up for the poor showing last year!

Where's my storms?

It's been too many years since I've seen an amazing storm.

Anyone got any good links to cams in the action zone? Had a look back through the thread but was either blind or drew a blank.

A few independent stations under that training area have received in excess of 40mm so far today.

I keep getting worried that today will be a bust but hoping for some look that this lot will turn into something similar to what Birmingham is getting right now

If anyone's interested, the cells that have popped up north of London currently look like this from my vantage point.

It’s lovely sitting out in the garden right now in the sun watching that anvil far away over London change shape quite literally by the second. I’d post a photo but it’s too far away to be seen clearly.

I'm watching the same anvil. Since I took a photo of it 5 minutes ago it's doubled in size, and another CB has formed right behind it. Lots of convection getting going to the north; nothing south of me.

Those cells just around the northern sector of the M25 should require close attention. Really pepped up in the last 30 mins.

Lightning picked up over East London now. I’m only about 25 miles away and the weather here couldn’t be more different!
