Welcome to the new winter thread!!! Just need the Murr scale of lightening strikes and it will be like december all over again

Snow is measured on the Murr scale, but lightning strikes are measured by the Grimometer. It's accuracy is in a league of its own as it picks up strikes no other model can detect. Quite remarkable

100% low cloud cover but I know Ac Cas is above the clag as my Grimometer is pinging like crazy!

For the south coast are we supposedly seeing something during the wee hours?

I saw a forecast earlier which mentioned thunderstorms for parts of Surrey at 12am - but that’s in two hours

Think there's also a measure for Ac Cas cover. Ranges from a little bit grim to very grim. I expect you're possibly seeing off the scale unbelievably grim AcCas levels

Yes you should always have PMS

I think the storms are supposed to be elevated, forming over N. France during the early hours, and then pushing northwards. Lightning frequency is debatable, but will probably be fairly frequent! DON'T QUOTE ME ON THIS THOUGH! I;m trying to decide if i should stay up tonight...

also, i meant to quote your other post lol

Never worth waiting up for, keep the windows ajar and if your woken up by thunder fair enough, if not at least you don’t end up hating yourself rolling into work feeling like you’ve been on a bender until 4am for no god reason!

But it is weird how spaced out only a few hours sleep makes you feel isn’t it?

Apparently it causes irreversible damage to our brains as well, but I only found that out a few months ago. Ooops
