Yeah your right also the lightning is getting much more fantastic here the rain still hasn’t arrived but Hoping this storm doesn’t die yet

It's really pepped up in the last 5 minutes. Lots more cc lightning. So annoyed I have to wait a bit longer to start some photography; the cloud structure is fantastic.

Is that a low top super cell storm over Milton Keynes, that looks to be going north very very slowly. Or just a powerful storm?

I was thinking the same thing. It looks like a supercell.

It's hard to tell which way it is going... and it seems to be moving southwards more then anything else! That area must have seen some huge rainfall totals in the past 2-3 hours

That's just where the lightening is. It's heading north/north east. That'd put us in the path.

Woweee just been sitting at the side of the London Eye watching the distant storm. Is it towards Aylesbury way? Not sure. Lightning is constant. Fabulous. What a treat I’m having this weekend!

So elevated lightning perhaps that's just not being tracked via real time lightning?

Yea, I'm sure of it. It's picking up speed and getting more intense as well I think. I'd be on the look out for funnel clouds down there.

Its definitely moving south because 30 minutes ago the southern extent was Aylesbury now its next to high Wycombe.

I think the worst of it has moved south from Northampton for now.

Even it was headed north it wouldn't get near Retford or Lincolnshire unfortunately.

Constant flashes torrential rain and I’m in Aylesbury it looked like it was moving away then stopped and extended southwards.
