Looks like they are starting to build across the Midlands as the clouds are getting darker but nothing on the radar yet, anyone know what time it might kick off?

Do you live on a fault line?

I don't think so but I do remember an earthquake a few years ago though. Only a small one. I remember a guy died because something fell on him.

Feeling very warm and humid. Looks to be building to my south, my location being south east midlands! Feels very ripe for more explosive storms.

A few huge spots out of a virtually clear sky. The clouds seem eager to release whatever they've got!

Does anyone have a clue what might happen today? BBC news was pretty vague.

Cheshire and North Wales could get one or two brief Thundery showers soon, If there is enough convection.

Some heavy thundery rain across southern wales, might intensify but weakening.

I might be wrong it's just my instinct.

Something also very active west of bruges, not yet showing on NW euro radar, looks like its intensified out of nowhere faster than radar could pick it up!

No, it will be radar watching all the way, as most models and forecast have been wrong already.

Maybe something will start from this, as it is level with the line over Wales 1934658187_Captureradar.thumb.PNG.f611fe2a603cbebde9c2341e4d291a5a.PNG

Yeah temperatures are really responding with the sun out have a feeling this is all going to go bang soon hopefully the storm starved NW can get something out of this  Just gone from 23 up to 26 at Hawarden as well not sure if that is a false measurement though.

Fairly rapid development about 20 miles SSW of here. Sky has gone fairly turbulent looking over that way.

Nice site to view for anyone who doesn't know it, tracking cloudcover and storm development, unsure how accurate this is though

I’ve got everything crossed. Wouldn’t be surprised if that was genuine; think it was cloudy there before so keeping temps down until now.
