The lightning frequency is utterly bonkers! Flashes every second with deep elevated thunder! Glorious!

Wouldnt mind something similar to what London is having tomorrow, that looks like a biggen. The channel has seriously come to life now

The Channel, along with the increasing instability over Southern U.K., is really getting the gears of the thunderstorms turning in some places. (Especially the ones over the London area)! ⚙️⚡

Not sure if it'll reach this far north but can see the odd flash on the horizon towards London

Is anything else likely to head towards the W country?

The direction of sferics looks promising along the S coast but always seems to die of death by the time it gets here  I also think steering flow is forecast to change as the night progresses to a more N/NE?

I feel your frustration mate, certainly a better chance of seeing these big storms down South, it makes perfect sense though with the proximity to the continent.

The problem i think with being in such a central location is that all the action is either way further south, too far east over the hotspot of South Lincs, or in recent years, way to far north! Our time will come eventually and when we do finally see a decent night time storm it will be worth the wait. Well any storm for that matter, night time or not!

Anyway, can any of our resident chasers report in? where are you!?

Redford and I don't know if they can. I don't think I'm going to see a storm at all in the coming days.

Don't think that will head this way but that storm over reading is producing strikes!
