Short heavy shower a few minutes ago, very localised, a 50 metre walk from office to bus stop and it hadn't rained there!

Got a tower appeared to the NW of here, even though we’re not due anything until later, and even then the risk is low..... Conditions must be good up there.

Just seen lightning to the west and it's gone very dark and eerie.

More thunder here, cell to the North looks as though it is intensifying on its western side and weakening on its eastern side. Somewhere like Totton in line for a direct hit this time I reckon.

Few showers developing to my NE that may drift by. Hit and miss in nature but fingers crossed!

Quite a few strikes not registering on Lightning Maps, that's turned into quite an intense cell heading over the Forest now.

Just heard a fairly loud rumble coming from the north east where it looks dark.

Yes I heard that too, was pretty loud even here.  I'm just on the edge of it all but looks like some pretty torrential rain headed your way.

William's (where is he? I miss him) favourite cloud building up here. Nice and hot, think a little too late to yield anything though.

As expected everything is mostly to the west of my area. I do have for of some towers going up to the north east of London though. Not sure how much they  mature.

Well the cell that lingered to my east for a bit has now mostly dissipated but is producing some fairly heavy rain as the decaying core passes overhead. Seems to be some more developments behind on latest radar frame so we'll see.

Lack of shear is evident. A bit more shear and we would have seen the cells sustain.
