Horrible day and feels bloody cold again. Was trying to get some painting in the garden done and only managed to get the exterior filler on. Took ages to dry. This weekend has put my job back by another week.

I hope next weekend is warm and sunny so I can get two full days of exterior decorating completed.

This is why I’m so fed up of 2018 weather, as the cold and damp weather has been so dominant. I’m dying for a warm sunny period to start in May and last until at least mid August.

Sunny, it is interesting to read your view of the weather but it would help us all a great deal if you dropped in your nearest town in your avatar please?

many thanks

Well its nearly May albeit a few hours , and today has felt and at times looked like Mid January! A Bitter wind, currently 8c with a freshening Northerly wind , Dewpoints akin to Winter only 4c , Todays top temps reached 9c, and a low of 6,3c . No Rain! The first time in my life that Ive worn a winter hat at this time of year...!:cold:

Thank you for that

I hope it is not too wet over the next day or so for you. Here it could go either way. At the moment it looks as if for most of the threat period it will be 50-60 miles east of here. As I often say, time will tell!
