Dry, no rain after midnight after a pretty wet afternoon and evening, sunny spells with variable patchy cloud and a low of 6.0 C

The rain yesterday evening became intermittent and drizzly by 1830 g.m.t and eventually cleared by midnight. A few showers followed during the early hours but it was dry by dawn. Sunny intervals and a couple of sharp showers so far today.

Further rain last night, some heavy bursts. The rain cleared towards midnight leaving clear spells. Sunny spells to start the day, cloud bubbled up quickly producing showers, these becoming heavy with hail in the vicinity.
