The first CD i bought was actually 'Now 29!' We are now at 'Now 99!' pretty scary.

Share your first Now cd or memories and favourite Now album.

I (think) had the first NTWICM album on tape (pirated). Remember stuff on it like Bonnie Tyler, Phil Collins and Men without Hats. Never had one on CD as it was around the time I stated to get heavily into Dance music and the Now albums held no interest for me. They still don't.

Nowadays these albums are crap... I admit, but back in the day when we only had radio, top of the pops and mtv (when it actually showed music videos) they were okay as an album in my opinion.

Thing that gets my goat is all the ministry of sound albums these days, seems to be a new one every other week.

I see radio 1`s summer mix is on much earlier but seems like a mostly rinse and repeat what I`ve heard yet, only heard about 3 or 4.

As for the now`s well the 80`s were the best for those, not as I bought any.

Maybe as the school holidays come they`ll have some different tracks on there.

The weather will probably become unsettled by them.

I had the first 6 of these. Duran Duran were a feature of the first few. I remember thinking Now 3 was the best of the ones I had with Now 5 being a bit weak.

There was also a rival series called 'Out Now' but to my knowledge it folded after the first few editions.

That was the last time I had any interest in pop music. Got into Acid House in its infancy and it's pretty much defined my musical taste ever since.
