33c at London City Airport. I work in central London and having been outside just now I can confirm it is absolutely roasting out there. Easily the hottest day of the year so far.

Hideously hot today out, I love a nice sunny day but why would anyone possibly wish for this sort of insane heat, you cant enjoy it, cant do anything in it, and cant sleep at night in it.

Up to 29.1C here despite an onshore breeze. That's very warm considering.

It would be quite something if we reach 30C twice in a week, after 17 years of not managing to.

Aberdaron has amazingly recorded almost 770hrs of sunshine since the start of May.

We're up to 749hours so far since 1st May. Quite exceptional.

Temperature falling here now. Only 25C, very disappointing given the airmass in place.

Not sure what you expect, living on the coast with a stiff onshore breeze? Sounds nice to me.

Had 28-29C most of this with a stiff on-shore breeze, usually we do well in these set-ups.

25C is pretty good? Still time for that to increase today.

Nope the massive heating inland along with southerly flow will keep the temps down here. Strangely enough likely to be the coolest day in a week here.

Probably, cloud is starting to build, Heathrow's dropped back 1C as a result.

Clearer air moving towards London so temperatures could rise again.

The record high minimum since 1980 here is 18.9C (set this week!), so anything near that 20C shown would smash the current value.

Your Max temperature is highly unlikely to occur after the sea breeze sets in

I know that. Once its in its in. Might get a slight secondary peak about 7pm if it drops out early evening. Just annoying the breeze kicked in just before 10am this morning.

The time it kicks in is down to the low level wind flow direction and strength. A syronger off shore flow will prevent an early onset of the sea breeze. Often difficult to work this out though for any one location.

I did a fair amount of work on this situation when working many years ago.
