Quite possibly, 252, it probably affects us all from time-to-time...? But, thankfully, after an utterly horrendous night, last night, mine is starting to ease off.

mine is winter, especially in cold shots, heating/clothes etc causes it

My mum often breaks out in rashes in winter when going from the cold outdoors to a heated building. She gets prickly heat in summer sometimes but not as often.

What a disgusting summer once again in Central Europe. Not to mention it began in April. Trees are still dying from 2015 drought and this will be another nail in the coffin for the already decimated forests. Groundwater levels are falling quickly and there are already talks of butchering livestock because there is no feed for them. The next week will be lovely with max. temps reaching 35-37C.

Extreme drought for three years in a row, ugh.

Send some of that heat my way in South Wales.  Summer has been fairly average here.

Thanks! The wind causes so much damage in winter, it annoys me intensely when it happens in summer. At least the crops have had a drink

I'm surprised. In Slovakia it's been very thundery since about the middle of April. June was actually a pretty wet month here. Just coming back from Hungary now where it's also been very stormy during my visit (I actually got soaked in Eger).

It does look very sultry this week. The latest ECM for Bratislava doesn't go below 22C right out to day 10, including a minimum of 26C for Thursday and Friday! It probably won't be that high (in my experience the ECM nearly always overdoes high summer minima for here) but it's going to be sticky for sure.

Can't wait to see how hot my flat is when I get back.

Made an error the other day think this will be the driest summer I`ve recorded yes we`ve had some morning rain,had more wind than rain last 2 days.

So the driest and hottest summer since 1976 so far.

An outside chance of 40C according to the high-res GFS min/max temp chart. I don't think I've ever seen a 38C on these charts before:

Not sure where to post this, but the title does have moan in it, so must be close enough.

Can Netwether please replace that 'Feels Like' temp shown on the 10 day forecast to something closer to the actual predicted temp. For me today says 'Feels Like' 28oC about 8 degrees off reality - it drives me mad

What sort of an August would we need for it to finish top of the pile? I imagine if you looked at 1995 at this same time it would have been lower than this summer so far. But that year had an exceptional August of course.
