interesting day today weather wise. warm, rainy a bit of sun and a few cracks of thunder 👍👍

much more pleasant to work out in today, rained a bit, put jacket on, job done. Now having a beer in the garden with blue sky and sunny. How I love our British weather 🙂

Lovely pic. Did those clouds develop further? Convection seems to have died off here to leave mainly cloudy, non-exciting skies

Yep. Even bigger now. The picture really doesn't do it justice how tall it is.

Wow! That’s rapid development. Someone’s going to get a proper soaking

Real big storm here presently, rumbles of thunder, lightning heavy rain and hail. As mentioned with unstable cooler air masses comes bigger storms, beats the last few attempts when it was hot and humid!

Winds gusting to near 40mph at times here in St Leonards on Sea this afternoon and some torrential downpours here since around 5pm.

Not at all surprised that Herstmonceux just 12 miles away is reporting 46.8mm so far today. 40.0mm of which fell in the last 2 hours. Just one rumble of thunder heard so far today.

Don’t know why the video quality is so bad, but all hell just broke loose here.

I'm getting a little tired of this, I age a year every thunder crack, I'm sure of it... 😕

Bits of hail, rain in Gravesham and way too many 'LOUD NOISES' for my liking.
