22 at WOW Metoffice station at 7:25 in Ashford, 23 at the nearest Wunderground station half a mile from my house at 7:20.

No clouds in the sky as opposed to yesterday. I can see records going today.

Even yesterday temps jumped from 28 at 2:30 to 32.2 at 3:15 once the clouds were gone (WOW metoffice station) and the day started with 16 degrees at 8am.

Certainly off to a very warm start - surprisingly cloudy though will have to break if we are going to challenge records - expecting somewhere East of London to take the crown today maybe 35.5c

Surprisingly damp and cool this morning at 6am. Lots of dew on car etc. Though air temp was 19oC when I set out - was 21oC when I got to London at 7am. Clear blue skies here in east London. It's gonna get hot

Cloudy start here in Beds = slow start to temps.

Hopefully the cloud will break otherwise certainly no record breakers in my area for today.

There are actually some hints of mid-level instability around here in Hastings; I don't believe it will amount to much though... The last t-storm we had was the rather spectacular Saturday 26th may night time storms*. So all in all, it's been a bit of a disappointing convective season this year.

* we have had some distant rumbles, from sea breeze generated storms further inland.

Yep the amount of cloud is a reminder that these  super charged uppers often are hazy and cloudy

Being on the south coast I should know better than get excited about potential storms, but like a child on Christmas Day, I just cannot help myself! 25C just down the road in Shoreham! Though it doesn't feel 25, it feels cooler!!!

strangely getting very cloudy here in east London. Sun's been in for a bit. If it carries on will hamper the max temps a little

The clouds are very slowly building up in South Ockendon.  My garden thermometer (in the shade) reads  26°C.  The Met Office has the temperature for this area at

22  °C.  The humidity is 82%.  Earlier on at the Met office there was 50% chance of rain by 4pm but that has been downgraded to 30%.  I hope that the forecast for tomorrow night's rain is correct.

Not overly impressed that my phone alerted me about the Met0 warning at 6:30 this morning, then the houses in front started work on a patio at 7am anyway and to top it off the council have just come along to mow 'the desert' I mean grass. whyyyyyyy.

Have a summer cold so the suffering is real, sweating on sweating. Bubs got a nose bleed and woke up covered.

Actually had some cloud here at the moment but it's gonna be vvvvvvv hot today, feel like poo.

Pretty please storm today/tonight/next 24 hrs.

A bit of mid level cloud. Plenty of gaps in it and it’s moving through anyway.
