The temperature now is 29.6 °C with humidity at 31%.  The wind speed and direction is 5.2 mph.  Mainly clear sky with scattered wisps of cumulus clouds.  The barometer pressure is 1016.0 mb  and the altimeter pressure is 1019.3 mb .  The pressure is falling slowly at -0.3 mb/hr.  It has been falling slowly since Friday.  I have been closely watching my analogue barometer where the dial is edging towards change.

What a summer so far.

Feels baking in that sun today, looks like Tuesday could be the coolest day of the coming week with temp in the low 20’s.. I remember when some summers we would have classed that as a reasonable/good day.

Truly outstanding. About time we had a proper long warm/hot dry spell and not a week of nice weather followed by days upon days of rain.

Yet another gorgeous day here, reached 30C, still 29C at 19:30. Loads of sun and not many clouds. Long may this continue, if only every summer was more like this!

I'm glad every summer isn't like this, actually.

No rain in my village for a month now the fields and parks are brown, we really need rain.

That aside, I'm loving the heat. For those who struggle in it, I happily pass on the advice given to me by a local in the Caribbean. "Too Hot? You haven't slowed down enough then."

It is Jupiter!

Nice little app on android called Daff Moon, amongst moon phases and set/rise times for all planets, it has a model showing the current sky and what can be seen where 24/7

My car registered 31c here today. It has felt like the most unbearable day so far as it felt so airless (and I'm a heat lover and sunworshipper!) Nice and cool now 18.4c

Could really do with a few nights of steady rain now. Everything is looking so yellow and parched. I lived in spain for a few years and the landscape is starting to look very similar!

Must admit I'm loving the hot weather especially after such a vile winter. BUT - we need rain now, I've got no grazing left at all, just dumped 50% of my flock at the livestock market on Saturday as so many others have done. I almost cried when I saw that heavy rain at the WC Final

Well having just checked the met office outlook for the week i see no general rain anywhere near the forecast. They say cooling down. Yes looks like the high heat has gone but still mid twenties and by friday its going up again. I am genuinley impressed at what this summer has been so far. Most of the schools break up friday lets see what happens into august

Still no rain in the forecast for the foreseeable future. Trying to a remember a time previously where I've been so long without rain.

My wall wooden barometer dial is at the top (change), so hopefully the weather will be changing.  I have been checking my barometer several times a day to see if the barometer pressure is lowering and thankfully it has.

Is it weird that I slept with my duvet on last night and was comfortable? And I'm usually the first to moan about the heat. Maybe I'm coming down with something lol

It was 29oC here last night at 7:30pm so I'm not surprised. And in London it was 22oC at 6:30am this morning. It's gonna be a scorcher today
