More pointless and annoying grey skies, bugger off, cloud! 18C with a SW’ly breeze.

Looks like rinse and repeat of the last two days cloudy wet mist, followed by a sunny hot and muggy afternoon.

Met Office forecast had London under clear skies by 9am. Yet another epic fail. The quality of daily forecasts has got worse in recent years, not better.

That's far to early, however it will clear earlier that yesterday, as it's lifting here now.

By this time next week, I'll be grateful that I'm within ten miles of the East coast. Just!

Temps will rocket each morning, to around 26/27C or so, and then be tempered after 11 a.m., as the sea breeze kicks in. Lovely stuff!:yahoo:

Indeed, so why do they mislead people?

the weather is great for the garden and getting out and about, but mind-numbing to post about. It looks like the whole of July with be hot and sunny with heatwave conditions and possible thunderstorms, it's already been the sunniest summer ever, never known so much of it.

Prolonged heatwave on the way, it does happen in times of low solar activity as the jet stream tends to buckle allowing high pressure to dominate. If this happens in the winter, then it's ❄️ time🤗

Typical - a switch from a SW'ly strong breeze and permanently cloudy skies to a cold N'ly and a bit of sunshine. Back to the hoodie and fleece, nights will be drawing in....

Another day, another round of heartrending hair-pulling over in the MAD thread...Alas; woe, woe and thrice woe, temps mightn't reach 33C next week, after all? 😱

Anywho, putting aside the doom and gloom, this morning is a lot more pleasant than yesterday was...

PS: How did the MRI scan go, H?

Same here, glad I'm not far in land.

Much cooler/fresher feel today but the annoying cloud has cleared and it looks like being a sunny day. Currently a chilly 15C with a brisk NW’ly breeze.

Certainly fresher. Humidity has gone from 96% at midnight to 49% now...

Lovely day with lots of sunshine. Bit chilly early on as I suspect it will be later.

Another lovely day. Cooler definitely but more warmer weather on the way.

No rain in sight and sunny and warm weather, ruling going forward = perfect!

The crap that we have to endure in this country with endless rain during winter and sometimes spring and sometimes even summer months, I’ll be making the most of a bone dry ground & the sun on my face whilst playing outdoor sports and walking the pooches.

Stunning landscape around here currently, beautiful green lush vegetation with a backdrop of blue sky... more days to come of this... luurvley!

Similar temperature but much less wind 😀 Should be a little warmer today. Clear skies here, lovely. Currently 13C with a very light NW’ly wind.

Still have a nagging straight Northerly, over here, SB...Otherwise, it's a sunny 14.2C.
